Alternative Facts
Concept In Brief
The inauguration was fantastic, but now you have those people - the journalists - asking you questions about the number of people who attended the President’s inauguration.
You have a number in mind, but just to be on the safe side and avoid bias from the dens of ill repute and fake news, you decide to verify and confirm with the President of the United States just how many people showed up for the inauguration. The President cryptically responds to your request by betting that he can guess the number of people you think attended the 2017 inauguration - while tweeting - within 10 guesses. He just needs a little feedback from you. After each guess the President asks you to tell him if his guess should be “more bigly” or “more tiny”. If the President doesn’t guess your proposed number within 10 tries, it really doesn’t matter. You still won’t win, but you’ll have a good story and more alternative facts to support your story.
